EvoFit is primarily a calisthenic fitness system, that’s focused on truly functional fitness and longevity.

EvoFit has borrowed the best elements from many different fitness systems to make it as holistic and balanced as possible.


Calisthenics: using one’s body weight and qualities of inertia as a means to develop one’s physique

EvoFit combines training philosophies, principles and exercises from disciplines such as:

  • Gymnastics
  • Natural Method
  • Yoga
  • Parkour
  • Animal Flow (quadrupedal movement)
  • Strong Man

Although there is familiarity in common calisthenic exercises and the list of disciplines above, the merging and combination of these makes for fitness system that is much more complete and holistic, as in isolation, most have shortcomings.

Our different workout types and the ability to scale it to your abilities makes for a workout system that’ll make you truly functionally fit, injury free and healthy, whether you’re 8 or 80 years old.

First master your body, then master external objects.


We do not use weights, except for lifting and certain lower body training.

As lifting is a fundamental functional ability, we favour the strongman philosophy of lifting objects instead of barbells.

Far better functional strength and abilities can be gained through body-weight (calisthenic) training compared to training with weights in the traditional sense.
